Oahu has a lot of places - look on www.padi.com for a 5-star PADI place.
We dove there a few months ago and liked the people at diamondhead divers.
Almost all of them have similar prices and services... it's more about who you feel comfortable with. You're going to be near the southwest corner of the island, so the choices may be a little different than at Honolulu. You may also want to check out the user forums at
www.scubadiving.com for other recommendations.
Good luck!

FYI - AAA got some bad reviews on that board:
Also, a local there recommends:
South Seas Aquatics, Aarons dive shop, Aloha dive shop or ocean concepts, bob @ kai ohana isn't bad either

(65.131.12.---) there motto is "The diving is free,, you pay for the abuse!"
The owner Alex is banded from every dive boat on the island,,,, that's why they got there own boat but rarely make payments on it so every so offen the sherrifs dept comes and interrupts the charters to get a payment
PS their boat is a 18 passenger and they will fill it if they get that many customers although that is unlikely due to lack of repeat customers

Oh yeah, most places should be willing to pick you up from your hotel...
If they don't, I would stay away from that shop since the competition is so fierce there and there are so many dive shops that it'd be like professional suicide not to...
PM me if you have other general questions
