***** can get her jewelry from the swap meet....And As has already been stated if you are only interested in sound dosen't really matter which one you get but from the performance stand point just keep the stock one for now...A BOV was my first mod and it lasted about a week and no matter how I adjusted the spring car ran like crap and the sound got old...

The stock bov couldn't handle my target boost range. I had a GFB 50/50 that leaked. I switched back to my original TXS RFL and I've hit 28psi without problems.

People say that the RFL is loud but, the 'swoosh' sound is drowned out by my BPM twister.

***** talk mode ON*
Only people with ihi turbos recommend to stay with the stock bov and airbox. Let the heard of cattle be and decide your own route. mwuahahahaha!!!
***** talk mode OFF*

I think you'll be fine w/your stocker . If anything, if you want some sound, get a short ram intake, preferrably from Cobb, TXS, Perrin, or APS. You'll really hear some spool and your stock recirc valve will be much louder. You'll get your woosh!

Thumbs up I think it is the best all around bov...

It's a dual vent meaning 50/50...but it depends on where you set it to blow off at...mine is set pretty tight, so it blows back into the return tube most of the time and only under high boost does it blow it partially to the atmosphere...

Set up in this way, you don't have the typical 100% atmo bov problems of stalling and rough idleing...Even when it blows off through the secondary, I don't have the backfires like I do with my HKS...

When I use this in conjunction with my AVO Short ram intake, it sounds loud enough to be audible outside even when it blows off into the return line...with the stock intake...it is pretty quiet though...

My HKS if for fun...once in a while, I like to hear the piercing HKS screech...but after about a week...it starts getting old...

Hope that helps...

Brent

Oh, yeah...I would totally recommend the APS...I don't believe it hurts performance at all...
