Overall, they are okay... but they stole my undercarriage rivets!!! And replace them w/ ziptides... *cry*
Haven't gone back since... I modded my car...
Why did throw a CEL? Did you forgot to tighten the gas cap? Wrong octane? People w/ AccessPort can read the CEL for you. Come out to the meet Thursday and hopefully someone can bring a AP. I have one but I can't make it to the meet this Thursday...

thanks man..
No...I put the cap on right...however the pump clicked off a couple of times while fueling and apparently there is a fuel system high pressure or so I'm told. I would actually be willing to purchase a device for reading the codes if they are not to costly (less than $100)..

basically the only thing that would cause the cel would be not tightening the cap enough, or possibly overfilling the tank. there is a warning on the cover not to top it off. i've never done it so i really wouldn't know. try going one full rotation on the cap after it starts clicking. then reset your ecu and see if it comes back.

hmm...
My car is modded ever so slightly with turboback exhaust w hiflow cat and mechanical CEL fix, intercooler hoses. I did these mods about 15,000 milkes ago with no CEL ever. Since I got the CEL after gas fill-up I assume it has something to do with the refueling. CEL is solid not blinking. Car is running great. Is there a cheap device I can buy to check the code myself? Thanks again.

Hmmm.. I would guess that its not tightening the gas cap. I crank the cap on my car 3 times after filling up. Just to be sure.
If you need the cel code read, maybe one of the guys with a cel code reader or an Accessport can check it for you.

if you can try ohana subaru, it might be more than just the gas cap.
when i first got my car, i had a crap load of problems.
it happened right after i filled up with gas.
turned out to be a constant misfire in cyl 3. my sparkplug was ****ed, and i also ended up getting a new ecu.
it was just a coincidence that my car shat out when i filled up on gas.
