2nd opinion...

i've been having white smoke coming out from the exhaust and for this past couple of weeks i've been really really concerned, because a fellow iclubber pointed it out to me that i should get it check(just in case)....

here's the problem, alot of times when i start the car and drive for about 10-15 minutes and come to a stoplight and white smoke would start coming out of the exhaust(some of you probably saw this at least once), when i press on the gas and blows alittle bit more and dissapear once i get rolling....

i've already talked to ryan@vakamon( i trust him, i really do..just want a 2nd opinion)..he said that it's minor...and that it's probably condensation or extra oil from blowby(something like that..RYAN pls correct me if that's not what you said to me..ahhaaha)..

Dude you've had that problem for a while now...I remember seeing smoke coming from you a few months ago but didn't know if it was condensation or what.

I forgot to mention it...uhm sorry

what color is the smoke? if its condensation, then you don't have to worry about anything. if its blow by, then a catch can will help the problem.

i would agree with ryan. if it only happens right after you start up the car and then goes away it is probably condensation. if it comes on after you've been driving for a while then it could be blow by. like ty said, get a catch can and see if that helps. nothing i can really offer but good luck rudy.

61 views, and only 3 replies thanks guys....i think to help the problem i just need to clean my ic pipes and replace my pcv valve which im still looking for hahaaaha....

btw..the car runs fine and i don't think is anything major, but i just wanted to be cautious about it, rather ignoring it....

Yeah, like everyone said if it's only at start up you shouldn't worry. If it happens after it's been running for a while you might be having blow-by issues (possibly deteriorating piston rings if it happens when your not at WOT when it happens) or even worse your head gasket might be going. If you could provide what your throttle position is when it happens, how many miles are on the car and any other info we could probably narrow it down pretty well.

It happens after the engine is warm, I saw the smoke coming from his exhaust while idle at Ward.

You could be buring up coolant which is a very bad thing.

I heard it's bad when you see blue smoke coming out of your exhaust.
