No damage, very very little rust. Straigh lines, the door sills were possible replaced. The tires are fine, but the engine is blown. I am swapping the engine so I don't care. I'm also going to put VLSD into it since it has an open diff. I can get it with a seperate but working KA24DE for $1500, or as is for $1200. It is an 89. The original KA24E was swapped out for a KA24DE.

what are you putting in? SR20DET?
how was the engine blown?
do the headlights move up and down correctly when you push the button?
are you able to look under the car?

I'm either going to try to put an RB26DETT in it or one of the many SR20DET options. Headlights are fine, but I will be getting a silvia front end so it doesn't matter. Engine was blown street racing, and I looked under the car and there is no rust.

check the door jamb area which is prone to rust. also the inside rear floor under the carpet to see if there was ever a leak along with the spare tire well for water. also under the dr and pass side mirrors for rust.
1989??? with that front end? that is not the early front end but rather a 91+.
personally, i really really hate the doodoo tan interior. it may get to you after a day of owning it.
go with the sr. more parts. less custom. change the PS hose when you do the swap to a brand new one.
finally, check your high pressure hoses fromt the fuel tank to the hard lines. teresa's, my old one and my current one all had really bad cracks in them where gas is ready to shoot out. just get to the fuel pump access panel and take it off, then look at the lines from above then go under the car and look at them so make sure they are alright.

SCSI - could you take a picture of your door sill because I think there may have been new metal welded into the door jam, if that is true this is a no go.

Well I live in Indiana, so shipping is going to be a PITA. I don't need it, but the interior smells like cat **** from water leaking into it. I am stripping every piece out of the interior and throwing it away...
