The sedan really took some cues off some of the aftermarket body kits for the legacy Gt..
The front bumper especially, as I forgot the link or company, and the rear is an old STI rear wing that was available for the LGT too..
I have a magazine,. but some posts on lgt on these kits..
Subaru looks to be losing its race heritage and going soft imo.....

You tend to lose that "edge" when you are no longer designing a vehicle for homologation...
If only Subaru was still in WRC, we would have had a 2dr hatch STi by now so they could compete with Citroen and Ford.

IMO definitely looks better than current sedan model, but really not feeling that rear fender. It compliments the hatch version more than a sedan.
Can't wait to see this in person.. 2011 looks promising.

Zerosports is going to either be pissed they put all that work into their show car (made a WRX sedan look basically like that)...or happy that Subaru is following their lead.

Wow, finally some power bulges on a Sedan... Too Bad the R205 only come in the Wagon versions. As always, pictures dont do it justice until seen in person.

Not sure if this is a repost:

The day after mashing around an ice course in Park City, Utah, we sat down with one of Subaru's product planners to discuss what the automaker has in store in the near-term. Our questions ranged from Subaru's thoughts about adopting torque-vectoring all-wheel drive ("We're looking into it.") to what, if any progress was being made on the Toyobaru front ("No comment").
But when asked about a four-door version of the STI, our question was met with a slightly cocked head, a small smirk and a faint glimmer in the exec's eye. Could a sedan be in the cards?
Maybe. But judging by this solitary teaser of the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, it appears that the rally-bred hatch is getting an all-new wing inspired by Subaru's dearly-departed WRC contender. We'll know for sure on Thursday when the wraps officially come off at the New York Auto Show.
