2011-2013 Subaru WRX Cylinder Layout?
Howzit I-Club!
I'm trying to figure out the Cylinder layout for 2011-2013 WRX....and the number established to a specific cylinder and the location of that specific number.
For example where is cylinder 1,2,3,4 located, Front driver side near battery, or passenger front etc....
Mahalo!

i dont see why or how itd be any different. number 1 cylinder is always the first and in H and V's, typically also always on passenger side. if you think about it, the layout it all frontward facing engines are actually all the same, its just the angle at which the heads sit that makes it more "confusing" but if you took you H-4 and shifted the heads upward t owhere they would sit on say a V-8, the cyl positions are still the same. 1 being first on passanger 2 being second rod in sequence and on opposite side. diff cars can have odds on one side and even on the other. not too sure if all car manus go by that.
but i hope i answered your question. and try a quick search next time. I searched :2013 subaru firing order
edit: also the block has the cyl # stamped on it. if you make your way through all the other crap youll see a number thats circled, right where the headgasket sits

I always think of it similar to military (Navy). From driver seat Port(left) is even numbers and Starboard(right) is odd numbers. Port even, stbd odd. Helps prevent you from getting lost on an aircraft carrier although I still do
