Actually I thought about this today also. Since I'll be doing some photography, does anyone want to give me a ride. Preferably someone who doesn't drive wickedly fast for photos and have a shotgun seat free.
I will contribute gas money also.
Steak! You down?

I'd offer you both rides, but I'm on photo duty as well, so I probably wont be with the cruise-proper for most of the time.
Well for John, that might work? We could be the "photo car".

That might work! I get to ride in LUXURY NOW! haha
Or we can get a truck and I set up a small tripod and shoot away. That would be nuts.
I'm thinking of going light with just two lenses too. The regular 24-105L and then bringing the 200L. That lens has such as freaking fast USM.

Just so we are all in the same page, here are the things that are happening on Cruise Day:
Registration - 0730-0910 pls make sure that you register right away upon arrival
0730-0850 - HIIC Swapmeet at the CORP
0850-0910 - Pre-cruise rollout
Kids Coloring Contest - winners will be picked at China-man's hat rest stop
HIIC Show and Shine - winners will be decided upon at China-man's hat rest stop
After the Cruise BBQ - 1530 back at the CORP
- This will be a busy day, so please bring lots of icy drinks, water, snacks, sunscreen, hats, and umbrella's. Our only decent stop will be at Windward Mall around 1200nn. Other than that, we will be at parking lots.
- I also want to remind everyone to please do not follow too closely with each other. There is no way that we will be able to stay as one group in this cruise.
- If you get separated, do not panic! You have a lot of time to catch up on the next stop. The raffling of prizes will be done before we roll out of the parking areas so please take your time.
-Please print the directions if you are not familiar with the route.
-Make sure you have enough gas. The route is approximately 85 miles.
- Most importantly: Please adhere to all traffic laws and proper driving etiquette while on the cruise. If you intend to speed, race or act offensively please do not ride with us. Our local ninja will be more than happy to kick you out.
