Why is it that rotaries are so popular over there? Easy access to parts or what?

Its very popular because of the #'s they been able to put out in a rotary engine, anywhere from 700-1200hp...6-7-8....second cars etc...parts are very easy to find, and for the most part its well known because of the fastest Rotary in the world with an amazing time of 6.83 @ 1/4mile is from PR... and for you to run 10's...does not take that much... 8 second car may just cost you about/at the most any where between 12-17 thousand...to repair it or rebuild nothing but about $1300...and thats it...check out this list, of their times, notice the las car on the list the slowest one there... Does are top top 142COMPACTS of 8.99 or quicker...Im trying to get the link instead of listing all this....anyways to answer your question...YES WE LOVE ROTARIES...JUST FOR RACING...BURNOUTS, EXPLOSIONS AND THE SOUND...
