Wanna Waste some time???
just for anyone else deciding on doing this Useless mod.......
REMEMBER, IF YOU TRY THIS MOD, DONT BLAME ME IF ANYTHNG GOES WRONG. I AM ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS ON THIS POST. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I have to give credit to NASIOC for giving me this Information. the link to their wire diagram did not work. it wasnt very clear to me with out it so i did alot of guessing and checking with the risk of possibly burning something out. i hope my little write up is clear enough for you to figure it out with no problems.
this is how i made it work with my DEI alarm, aka VIPER, Auto mate, Rattler, SideWinder, or what evers. i have the AutoMate Alarm which was dealer installed.
things you may need.....
--Napa ECHLIN 5 prong Relay part #AR272
--1 Amp diode, no particular voltage
--25amp fuse
--turbo timer wire harness for SUBARU (you will need to cut you ignition wire, you dont want to cut your original wire!!!!)
-- female quick disconnects 12-10 gauge (To plug into relay) or Solder with a soldering iron.
--soldering iron
--wire taps
--wire cutters
--wire crimper (if not soldering)
--electrical tape
--tie straps (to secure relay and wires)
Now, for what goes where....
Make sure to unplug your Battery
First solder the diode on prongs 87a and 86 on to the relay, make sure that the ringed side is on 86.
87a ---- Ignition Wire (key Cylinder side)
Yellow Ignition sensor wire (DEI Alarm), use a wire tap
87 ---- 25amp fused 12v HOT wire
86 ---- Turbo Timer ignition wire
85 ---- Ground
30 ---- Ignition wire (ECU/Car Side)
Notes
- for prong 87a, tap your yellow DEI alarm's ignition wire to the ignition wire on the key cylinder side. it might alredy be there
- for prong 87, You can tap in your DEI alarm's red wire, or use any other full time live +12v point
- to get the three ignition wires, you will be cutting your turbo timer harness on both sides with two connectors (the side that goes on the car's original harness). tape up one side that goes to the timer use the other as turbo timer wire. see picture. please see my crappy little drawing below.
- make sure all connections are good and secure. if anything comes loose, you wont be able to start your car. you dont want this to happen when you go out for a drive and leave all your tools at home. now that would suck.
with this set up your alarm will now be able to know the difference between having a key or running the timer. before reasslembling your dash, make sure to test if your shock sensor is not too sensitive that your full turbo back exhaust will set it off. you dont want to have to take every thing apart again.
GOOD LUCK!!!

The HKS harness at the bottom of the page was the one I used on my Blitz TT I had much cheaper too. You can call Gruppe-S to see if it will work on the TT you have or might not have.

sorry, i dont know, i have not seen the 04 setup. the only thing i researched on was how to make it run with alarm, and why we didnt need it, i never looked at install instructions. it didnt take very long to find. if you have alarm, you may possibly see wire taps there. thats probably the ignition harness.
