your car sounded very nice when i was working the funruns at the mcds turn. car looks composed, i'd like to try it at the tnt if you're going and give you more pointers hehe
feel free to drive mine, i'll have some old 275's and my street tires on the miata.
i love the street tires, its fun... did a 42.7 on them in funruns, only 1.5 seconds slower than the 275s!

Great Pics Anthony! I'm glad you made it out to AutoX. Saturday 4/16/11 is RallyCross at Kalaeloa Raceway Park. I hope you can make it out for that too.
Thanks for the fun run Ryan. Great power from your STi. I had trouble with the handling, but I'm still getting used to my STi as well.

Thanks Cory and Avery. I'm not sure if I'm going to make the TNT but I think I might.
The car is really setup now to look good with my daily wheels. I haven't changed ANYTHING from trying to fit the 18 x 9.5's with 245/40 as low as possible. My next project is to raise the car up and make it handle more properly. So if I can lift the car up, and actually fun run it with my Grid's and possibly my old race tires, I'll probably do that. Avery mentioned some things that he felt that should be changed, so I think I'm gonna take his advice and change things!

Have a question, how much damage does the cones do to the paint? Does it chip it or scratch it? Always wanted to try this, was worried what it would do to the car.......

Nothing really. I have a few scuffs from yesterday but they come right off. My car is white so I can really see the orange on it, but when I wash the car with a little elbow grease it comes right off.
I did have a crack in my fiberglass lip from me hitting a bump stop (I know flame on) and I hit a cone and cracked it more with that, but it was just fiberglass and easy to repair. I could always take it off if I was more concerned about it but if it breaks again, I'll just fix it again.
But if your really worried, just don't hit cones.

I heard it was fun. too bad my moronic mind tends to plan vacations during RUNOFFS.

heh, I might bring it out. I'll probably have it on street tires though. I can't afford to but a new set of tires yet. Although it would be a good excuse to pick up some 275's... Where's that credit card?
Edit: Chris, you missed a SUPER fun course! I was having a little too much fun in fun runs, sliding the car wayyyyy too much. But thats why its called "Fun Runs", Right?
