Forza Azzurri! Forza Azzurri! although i still wanted germany to win. italy deserved this world cup after all that's been going on in italy and stuff, and the past 4 world cups starting from 1990 with roberto baggio, they were always there but just couldn't put the finishing touch. another well deserved win goes down in the history books.

agree's....... Zidane was just mad cuz they tied the game and knew that goal they had against italy was a cheap goal that was made due to a great actor. he took a dive when he wasn't even hit by anyone

I Agree that Zidane didnt put forth the greatest bit of sportsmanship by doing the headbutt, totally wrong. Get it straight please though that he wasnt mad because they tied the game, common thats dumb. I think that respect should be given to him for everything he has done throughout his career.

I think Zadaine is good, This yr. at the World Cup he has been essential, but He is OVER-RATED....Old, looser, and a piece of **** attitude!!!!
Bottom line IMO: Fak Zidaine

yes, i agree to this. that wasn't the best sportsmanship that he showed, and definitely not the spirit of a champion, however, in zidane's defense he still has done much for the sport and has contributed a ton to his teams as well as his country. hey, at least we know he's human afterall. even champions make mistakes.

look at diego maradona, his "hand of god" posed him as a cheater, and many people didn't like him for that, except in naples where he was still a hero.

zidane is still a hero in my book.

Same here... just becoz he knocked down someone with his head makes him the worst player ever! what a logic! boo boo... agree he deserved the red card and critics, but still he is a great human player with mistakes...

He should be punished / fined for his actions, just like every other player (any sport) who commits such acts... But FIFA tends to cover up their super stars due to retaliation by fans, players or such country...etc...

yeah, i agree that he should be fined, and i think he will. in fact, with the money he's fined, he should donate it to i-club. ok that was dumb, but you get my drift. yeah, FIFA does those lame cover-ups for choke players and clubs, but yet, they try to be the "good ones" on the outside. it's all politics.
