***HELP! Kartboy SS Doesn't Fit?***

I bought http://www2.kartboy.com/x4/product.p...cat=253&page=1 for my 03 WRX. I just tried Installing it and it simply wouldn't fit. The neck part of the short shifter right above the ball were there is a tunnel for the bushing and metal slide was too wide. The serial# on the ss is "KB015321." I'm either assuming...

1. They straight up sent me the wrong shifter?
2. There is another way to install possibly from the bottom of the car but still the brackets won't match up?
3. I'm doing it wrong? but on scoobymods ( http://www.scoobymods.com/kartboy_sh...ings-t205.html ) it's self explanatory.

This wouldn't fit...

...into here

HELP!!!!

You might have to order the rS series because your car came with the factory short shifter installed, that's probably why none of this **** fits like it should.

there are two versions for the 5mt pivot as you have found the hard way, a wide and a narrow version.

If you have the factory sti shift linkage on your bugeye (factory option) you need to buy the 97-01 kartboy short shifter iirc.
