$30k Ford Focus?

To compete head on with the likes of WRX STi and the Lancer Evo VIII, Ford in the UK is undergoing some testing on the new US model Focus Cosworth.
I been in the loop since early of 2002 when the UK boys talked about this, and the Suzuki guys first got the wind of this event. R&T showed some pics graphic enhanced ones only in late 2002.
Though, I had to laugh at first, but now, I am a believer when R&T now has a pic of the little beast and rumored Focus AWD is coming to America Shores.
In the Road & Track (pg 43), July issue, it showed the new Cosworth edition and it looks great.
Expected HP is over 300HP modified turbo Cosworth engine, AWD, six-speed gearbox, agressive suspension system, racing seats, and some clean body work.
The rumor is that this is a limited run production but it will depend on the sales.
The price is north of 30K though.

300hp - 6-speed - AWD - ~3000lbs. Sounds like a winnar to me! 2-door STi anyone?
