RARE JDM Subaru Motorsports Header

Hey all,

Somehow we stumbled upon this header mixed in with our last shipment of engines. As far as we know, this is the ONLY ONE in existance. It appears to be an equal length header designed for a 4 cylinder Subaru factory race car. It will only work with a modified oil pan or dry sump oil system. It also features what appears to be a quick disconnect for the uppipe/turbo so that it can be quickly swapped out during a race. This manifold can be easily modified to take a more standard uppipe arrangement.

This header is particularly unique because while it is equal length, it does not have the extra piping associated with standard aftermarket equal length headers. This means that it will cause turbo spool up much more quickly because the extra length of piping does not have to be pressurized. Equal length piping ensures that exhaust pulses are evened, thus deminishing backpressure and increasing horsepower.

You would need a custom uppipe and we don't offer a direct bolt-on uppipe.

Thanks

Well there is a little more too it than that, a custom oil pan would need to be made not just the piping replecated. This setup is aimed at motorsports where a dry sump or similar setup is used as well as a quick disconnect turbo.
