the ventilation thing is kinda just keeping the garage doors open with fans blowing air through. I know that isn't the best, but I've never had junk land in the paint, so it works for me.

There is a trick to that anyway. Before you start painting, wet the floor. The water on the floor will catch just about all the dust.

I may have money for paint soon, I have some work coming up, and I'm selling off my exhaust and AP. So if ur interested check out my post in the classified section or just pm me.

Props to you for doing it yourself and taking control of the quality and your budget for the paint job.
Where do you buy the paint at? I'm looking at doing this on my bumpers and hood. I have wrb for my paint too. What brand of gun do you have?

My gun is a Dvilbis, not sure on the spelling of that, and there's a place in San Leandro that I go to called San Leandro Color. That's where I bought the gun too.
If ur seriously considering this deffinately practice on somethin a few times to get the timing and distance right. A big help for me was te guys at the paint shop. I sat in there for a couple hours askin them questions lol.
Neway I'm on my way bak from a job now so when I get paid I should have enuf for my paint w00t.

I'm going to practice on my scoop since I'll have a spare after this weekend. Yes Devilbiss is a good gun to use. This will be a future project for next year. My car budget will be going away for awhile

soooo its gonna b a while before the car gets painted... I kinda spent my money on a set of OZ Ultralagerras, plus tires, and a set of sport springs lol.

I'm thinkin next month I may have the money, but who knows, I'm goin to Tahoe for the weekend so maybe I'll come back with enough for paint.

lolz, hell yeah.
Kinda funny, my buddy has a white Evo X and we end up racing everywhere we go.
Even ended up playing around on the freeway with an 07 STI and some junky integra the other night.
