yeah it is hella different the HB is like a Glasspack style resonator minus the glass it just has packing. and the Sedan Res. is hella wide and big and looks very restricting.

Which exhaust are you talking about sedan or hb? The hb looks more like a glass pack. The Sedan is still straight through but it's REALLY wide. making it quieter. Me and Izzyidk have done multiple exhaust set up with the stock piping he has a HB while I have the Sedan. When we both were Straight I had a Deeper grumble with like a GTO rasp while he had grumble with a higher pitch rasp. with just a Resonator delete I was Louder then him but both where deep. when I got a Thrush Glasspack put into my straight pipe it still stayed loud and deep. toned it down very little. While Izzy's hatchback got a lot quieter but he had a Cherry Bomb Glasspacks. I dont have exact measurements on the Aftermarket Glasspacks though but can get some if someone wanted to go that route. also Izzy now has a 3" Non Resonated Catback with a Tsudo Muffler REALLY deep and little drone. I have not tryed this yet since its going to cost me a bit more due to 2 cans and a Y pipe. If you need me to clarify anything feel free to ask.

Mine is 2009 hatchback. I just wanna know if you saw the resonator inside and confirmed that it's a straight-thru.
And what about internal diameter, is it smaller than the rest of the OEM pipe or stays the same?

You see, that's very cool, because the piping on the turbo models is already quite big from factory and bends are very smooth. Which means that to free up the system, you just need to replace the muffler for whatever you like.
I'm looking forward to a Hushpower from Flowmaster; I had a good experience with one on a 240SX. It's not completely free-flow, but the conical "chamber" is a mesh, which provides for a near-free flow with a lot less droning. I hope the sound is good.

Money is a great factor to think about. If the OEM layout is good, why spend $500 or $700, if you can do with $200?
The savings could go to a new downpipe or other stuff.

Exactly what Julio said. Also I wanted to see what the stock exhaust was capable of sound wise. It seemed like so far what i've done has given me more power and I like it how it is. And I've only spent like 140 or w.e for all the things I've done.
