Will a WRX mid-pipe + exhaust fit a 2000 2.5RS?
Does anyone know if an exhaust and mid-pipe from a WRX (I'm assuming that the 2002-2004 WRXs have the same exhaust) will fit on a 2000 2.5RS?
Thanks-

Same question as ^^^^ except I'm just looking at the catback for right now. I'm pretty sure that the WRX cat back will fit with a tweak of an exhaust hanger (rotate it 180°). My greater concern is the flange joint. Do the flanges match up at all?
Thanks

Here's the deal:
To my knowledge, the midpipe won't fit. Could be wrong, but I don't think it fits.
As for the axleback: overall shape-wise, it fits perfectly. The forward-most hangar arm will have to be removed and replaced or rotated/lengthened in order to reach the hangar. The flange, if you pair it with a midpipe designed for the RS, will have to be rotated about 45 degrees I think.
The exhaust from a 2002-2004 WRX, which is dual-tip, is 2.25" in diameter. The RS, from 1998+ (all of them I think) is 1.875" ... so there's a significant increase. Mind you, the WRX axleback doesn't flow well at all compared to a nice aftermarket unit, but.... they're plentiful and typically very cheap, if not free.
The '05 WRX axleback is now single-tip, and much nicer. Not sure of the diameter, but Subaru might've stepped them up to 2.5" (which I'd hope they did, since it's a turbo car).
