So what was happening that you noticed that it was messed up. Did your motoro just stop working or was something going wrong.
I have a MY 99' with a weapon r, I have no problems with it just that before the recall I blew 2 maf sensors. 1 was due to the crappy dragon filter when I ordered they hyper filter. After the recall I have had no problems what so ever. I didn't notice losses a low rpm's and definatly noticed a gain up high. In my close group of friends (as in hang out with everyday) there are 4 Rs's, 2 MY 99's, 1 00', and 1 01'. We all have weapon r's, I have done many drives to see if there was a noticable loss down low and it seemed the only small loss came from the 00' and the 01' and it didn't really seem bad at all. I don't know why everyone says it sucks. Yes the Dragon filter sucks, that's why you go buy a better filter. And yes, it sounds awsome with an exhaust

As for the problem, I never noticed any kind of bogging, did you reset your ecu after you installed it and not touch the gas for 10-20 min. when it was running. If you did disconnect the battery for a little, then reconnect it and start the car and let it sit for 10-20 min.

well first off the car had a very lopey idle. poor acceleration till about 4k then it picked up normally. funny thing is it ran the whole time until i got it fixed. the exhaust valve was missing about 1/4 of the seating area. yeah i hear ya about buying a new filter but when I spent about $200 on that intake I expected some good stuffs to happen. but I was fooled till I redid it my self. yeah I reset the ecu a couple of times but that intake runs really lean w/ that foam filter iirc .
