turbo legacy motor in my 96 impreza??
Has anyone ever done this and is it even feasible?? I am looking to upgrade my performance and figure a turbo would do it wouldn't it??? Would I have to upgrade my tranny as well?? Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I researched this a couple years ago. There's a couple problems with it. Essentially, you need the entire Legacy turbo car (first problem...finding one) as you will need the crossmember and the electronics which are different from the Impreza.
The wiring isn't exactly plug-n-play either.
If you want to go turbo swap I'd say it's probably easier to get a J-spec import 'kit' you can just swap in. It fits the car, is a bit more modern and will give even better performance.
