Trouble Finding N/A Cold Air Intakes
I've got a '05 Impreza Outback Sport and I can't seem to find any cold air intakes for it. I've looked at SPT and K&N, but it seems like they are all for WRX/STi's.
Does anybody know of any 2.5 N/A cold air intakes?

i just installed my Injen intake on my 99RS. it made QUITE a difference. and yes, it definitely is louder - no doubt of that, but it is ONLY louder when you are really heavy on the throttle. if you're just cruising around, then it makes no more noise than the factory setup.
the mid and high RPM range is very different from stock - its a LOT better. there is more power, it revs much easier and the car just goes faster.
imagine running and breathing thru a 1" straw. its kinda tough to get air. now, imagine running and breathing thru a 3" straw. its a lot easier to get air and you do not strain so much to breathe.
same principle here.
one thing. be sure you get the intake with the CARB legal sticker on it. otherwise, cops can give you crap about having an 'illegal' intake.

Spt does make one for the outback. i know i have seen it. go to www.spt.subaru.com. or reverse spt and subaru. anyway. i am 99% sur ethey make one for them. like was said before you dont feel much in lower RPM but doubled with my spt exhaust i noticed a power boost. also after about 3000 rpm you hear a little bit of wooshing and swooshing like a BOV. sounds nice. i also noticed less spool lag and smoother accel.
