Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Which RS is better for power?

Which RS is better for power?

Im in the process of deciding which RS I should get. Either 98'-99' or 00'-01'. My question is, Which engine can I get the most power out of the 98'-99'(DOHC) or the 00'-01(DOHC)? Any help will be great.
Thanks.

With forced induction you can make a ton of power out of any. In stock trim, the MAP engines make a lot more torque down low. When it comes to a used RS though, just buy the best one you can find. They don't exactly grow on trees.
