New 2002 Subaru 2.5rs - What do you think?
Ok so I just bought a used 2002 Subaru 2.5rs this week with 90k miles and your normal wear and tear, and I was wondering what some more experienced people think would be worth the money to put on it. It is actually my first m/t car so I am just getting used to it for now, but I havent grinded any gears and I really dont stall so I am not doing bad for my 2nd day driving it I guess.
I just got some new all-season tires put on it because winter is coming and I live in the mountains and snowboard alot. My bud works in a shop and got me some $120 bridgestone tires for $70 a peice and then balanced and mounted them for me. I am having a new windsheild installed this week, and I put it some new infinity speakers in the doors (Minus the tweeters).
So my question is, I want to take advantage of the boxer engine, its unique sound, and its power... so what do you think I should put on it?
I really cant seem to find many things for it online, but I probably am just looking in the wrong places. I can find tons of things on wrx and sti however, but I am guessing they are not compatible.
I have been a owner of subaru's in my family since I was born, so I figured for my first car I better keep the tradition going strong .
I will try to get some pictures soon. It needs some paint work on the bumper and such... but then again who doesnt lol.

i got a similar car (also my first car) its the 2002 2.5ts. anyway i havent really done much to it yet but an exhaust is a good place to start. i got a borla on mine and it has good sound and it gives it a little power. (a noticable change) also an intake or a drop in air filter. you may want to sharpen the handling too so its a good idea to invest in some sway bars and for an 02 and up a rear strut bar. you dont really need a front strut bar. that should get you off to a good start. have fun with your new suby.

common engine mods:
Borla header
Cat-back exhaust
Intake
There's various suppliers that have items for you. Just gotta search around. You'll find them. Also, as far as non-engine stuff, most WRX stuff will fit the RS. You'll notice this after reading up on it a bit...

Does anyone one know how much it would be to replace that side rocker panel on my car?
Also are there any nice lip kits for it? I dont want a full budy kits, just a lip kit to mount onto it.

I just put in some infinity 6 1/2's in the front doors today. Man was getting those babies in difficult lol. I didnt realize I was going to have to custom make brackets to get them in there. They sound good though now that I have to speakers capable of more highs lows.
I am going to buy some new rear door speakers also as well as a alpine head unit, but I ran out of cash lol.
Its a first car, what can I say.
Oh yeah, stainless steel brake lines and new rotors + pads this week also

I am putting a new windsheild on it sometime this coming week, and the brake pads, rotors, and tires are all installed and ready.
I was wondering what this car is worth?
Like if I were to sell it after I got the windsheild on?

Not to sound like an ***, but its only worth what someone will pay for it.
with that said the first step would be to check out the KBB value for it, that would give you a base ideal, but unless you can find someone thats looking for what you've put into it, you might be lucky to get the KBB value, since the average buyer thinks tuner means that the car has been rode extremely hard.
