Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Loose tube in driver-side C pillar?

I have a '01 RS with a sliding moon roof. Every time I make a hard left and then straighten out, the tube in the C pillar hits the inside of the body making a 'tap' noise. I know its this tube because I can see it from the trunk. It comes from the roof and goes into a rubber box type thing in the rear quarter, just behind and under the factory jack.

What is this tube for? Water drain for moon roof?
Anybody have this problem?

Yes, and no, in that respective order.

I already have kartboy hangers and the exhaust does not move AT ALL. I know it is the tube in the C-pillar and just need to know how to get at it. Hopefully I don't have to remove the moon-roof assembly.

if you want to get to the place where it connects to the moonroof tray, you will at least have to pull the headliner down.
