Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Injen Hydro shield

Hi, i currently have a RD CAI in my 06 2.5TR. I was afraid of hydrolocking. Does anyone have experience with the hydro shield? Or are there other options? Or do i even need one? Thank you very much....

umm i m guessin thats like the aem bypass .... all it is is a hole in the intake so if water was sucked in it wouldnt go into the engine, umm the filter would have to be pretty submerged in standing water to hydrolock the motor, i never had a bypass when i had intakes on my other cars, avoid sinking your car in a lake or pond, and youll be fine
