Increasing performance on a 2012 2.0i?
I now own a 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i 5-speed hatchback and it's great for my first car, but I was wondering if i could increase the performance without major modifications. I know this won't be as easy as it would be with other non-turbo years since the overall design was changed so much from the previous years. Is there anything easy to improve?

Intake, exhaust, headers should get you 10-25hp extra. E85 fuel is not very effective considering the fuel efficiency loss of 30%, cost of tune, and bigger injectors just for another 15-25hp.
I'm not a fan of nitrous but after you do the bolt-ons it might be something to consider for you.

Just make it looks fast. A nice droop and some wheels! I think they look amazing with a lowering kit and weels. If you want performance sell it and get a wrx.

Whatever, im 18 and honestly, I see no reason getting a turbo'd car. Yea it has more power and attention getter, but realistically, people at your school are gunna just key your car, and anyways the N/A imprezas are awesome DD's. There is no reason to be getting a turbo car if your parents are paying for it because this will happen

There is not much you can do to the car yet.
I have been waiting for parts also.
Best thing you can do right now it a RSB. Do you have a Base model?
Springs, struts aren't available yet.
Maybe a hybrid intake.
Exhaust helps.
Just remember this is a PZEV car. It will take a lot of $ if you really want to boost the power.

dude, youre 16 and have a 2012 car. forget about power and just enjoy the ride. when i was your age i had a 10 year old econobox with over 200k on it. save your pennies, take car of your current car and then buy yourself what you really want. besides 16 y/o kids dont have the needed road experience to be driving performance vehicles.

Check it out, like everyone said modding this car is not the best bang for your buck from what I've seen, I drive the sport limited.
Wheels and tires can help a lot, but if you got the sport the 17s are over an wider than the stock tires.
If you know about any one doing a tune that could help you out, maybe even with gas too!
