Hi, i'm new to the I-Club, this internet community rules!
I own a '02 2.5 TS, and i would like install a ganzflow CAI.
If I could find one used, how much do I'll expect to pay?
Ganzflow onwners: how about the sound? if keep the stock exhaust, only the CAI installed.
thanks for your help!
and sorry for my bad english writting (I think...) i'm learning right now, (Fench Canadian guy...)

sound will pretty much stay stock until your flooring it and hit 4rpms +. then it lets u know its there.not too loud though,i have a k&n also, just make sure you reset your ecu afterwards. its only $110 new--one of the cheapest yet nice intakes ive seen, really impressed.

Thanks man for you reply, If there's others Ganzflow owners want post some advices for this CAI, go for it!
(I already have the K&N drop in panel filter.....)
I was wondering if I remove the intake silencer in the passenger side fender, does it improve something to the airflow? (with a Ganzflow installed...)
I assume that it would make some huge noise at WOT
Do I take the risk of having water in the intake when driving in rain?
How long do I have to let the black terminal of the battery disconnected in order to have the ECU reseted? I heard some guys saying 30 minutes, some says 1 hour...
Who can tell me the right thing?
thanks again in advance!

i believe the intake silencer in the lower fender is only on the wrx's,kind of a ram air deal to the stock airbox. just remove all the black plastic intake besides the filter housing of course. i left my battery disconnected for about an hour to be on the safe side. touch the pos and neg cable together helps capacitors to discharge.then let idle for 30min and dont touch the gas, turn it off start it and drive.ecu will be fully adjusted in about 2 weeks and gas consumption will go mostly back to normal, maybe a loss of 2mpg. oh and have both battery cables disconnected.dont have to worry about water, pulls air from the same spot the factory one does!

Here's a sound comparison when i installed my ganzflow.
Stock:
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/moogoo...za%20stock.MP3
Ganzflow:
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/moogoo...20ganzflow.MP3
They were recorded the exact same way with a 2 mic's about 4-5 feet in front of the car, straight to my PC.
Someone said they both sound like chainsaws once
I think it sounds different when your actually accelerating though. Can someone confirm that I'm not talking out my butt because its late and i'm tired...

Because it costs money to buy piping, it costs money and a little research to have it bent properly, silicone connecters cost money, and I think there is a welded bung on it. I would rather spend a little more and have it done for me, then save $20 and do all of the work to piece it together myself.
You could probably pick up a used Ganzflow for like $65-70 is my geuss. That is what I am going to try and sell mine for if I go turbo in the spring.
