Gauge Pack, 2000 RS 4 Door
i just got a 2000 Impreza 2.5RS last monday, and i already wanna start modifying it. first thing i wanna do is put a gauge pack/cluster on the dash board where the open compartment is, but i dont know what kind to choose. i have seen some clusters that will fit 45-48 mm gauges, but none that are 52 mm. has anyone seen this done? does anyone have this done? please reply and let me know what i can do to get this in my car, how you did it, and where you got the parts. i have seen this done on a coupe before, and it looks great. thanks for the help.
also, if you have pics, post 'em! i wanna see how they look.

how about this.
i have a 99' impreza 2.5 and i ordered a gauge pod for $60.00 from www.subaruwrxparts.com
and then joust go to auto zone and pick up a $30.00 guage pack with guages that fit right in all you have to do is just make a bracket and your good to go.

Somebody on the nasioc used to sell the already reworked gauge pod and a metal face plate so that it fits 52mm guages. There is also at least one dashtop pod that will hold 60mm gauges. I've got one of the units that were being sold on nasioc installed in my car. Looks like an OEM setup.

i have decided that i want the gauge pack from Subaru that has the temp, compass, and altimieter on the dash... i'll probably put the performance gauge pack below the cd player. thanks for the replies. ill check out the websites and see what they are offering...

I say they are worthless cause the outside temp and alti are one of the last things that you should worry about. Things like oil pressure, volts or oil temp would be the first things for any car. That or a trans temp gauge if your running and A/T. The compass, temp and alti are about as useful as neon lights and 18s on a Civic.
