i have a '99 impreze 2.2L so it has the ej22 engine. i was looking into getting the cobb intake for it. but it says on www.imprezars.com that it it is 2000-2004 and doesnt say anything about which engine it takes. if you look at the pic it looks very much or exactly like mine, but i dont know if it will fit. plz help

I dont think so with the MAF though i have heard the cobb has an intake for 99rs's only and is made for MAF and might work? someone may want to correct me there but it's $299 ouch... but i just made my own out of a weapon-r dragon intake and universal filter kit from prm building it my own was about 90 bucks cheaper than cobb and well dont look as pretty but it works.





BTW these are on a 98 L...

The universal filter kit runs about 130ish shipped (since prm is in canada) and you can probably find a used intake like a weapon-r for cheap or just buy the cobb one and modify it yourself if you have too...
