4 cyl to 6 cyl conversion??
newbee question----I have found an inexpensive early subie (the wedge car--5 spd--4wd button on the shifter--4 cyl turbocharged---My 1st question----is this car full time 4wd and the button is a 4WD "lock" for the center diff----or is it a 2WD and the button activates the center diff-to send power to the rear wheels??-----and what is the center diff--viscous or mechanical??
second question----will the 6 cyl engine (same wedge car) fit the 5 spd trans (with added flywheel/clutch of course??---also found a cheap 6 cyl car (auto of course)
thanks in advance,
lee

the ER27 has a six bolt bell housing and i dont think it would fit just from looking at my dads when he had it apart
but if you wanted to you could get the EZ30 from a 02+ outback and stuff it in
