2.5rs vs. WRX

I'm looking to upgrade a few suspension components on my 05 RS such as a rear sway bar and strut tower bars front and back (this setup was reccomended by a friend to correct understeer). Will someone tell me if parts such as this made for the wrx will work on my RS? If not, why, and what are the major differences in suspension between an 05 rs and an 05 wrx

I don't see why not. The chassis is the same. I know that between the WRX and STi, the mounts and strut mounts are different, but I think you should be okay.

This should technically be in the suspension section. A mod will probably move this.

oops, sorry bout that...thanks for the helpful info, every product website ive been to has all these suspension components for the wrx and then like one rear sway bar for the 2.5 rs so one would assume that the wrx components dont fit on an rs.

Ebay stuff is... well... not that great. Personally, I didn't really notice much with a strut tower brace. I think what is noticeable the most is upgrading the rear sway bar. Do that and endlinks, and you'll be in good shape.

^ I'd recommend getting both front and rear sway bars.

get both front and rear sway bars. It will help the turning by keeping all four wheels planted during turn in and reducing body roll.
