Our 06 wagon
'outback' mugguards, got them since they were body color. Debadged.
1998 2.5rs wheels, black lugs.
nice @$$
forester din pocket, little bit of work to get it in, you have to drill a few holes in the mounting racks. got a iTrip iPod FM transmiter wired up behind there.
also have the HKS air filter, and i recomend it highly.
Fumoto valve, mobil 1, think thats about it so far.
I have some hella 500s and we are waiting the rally innovations skid guard for the 06, may go with a local shop to get one made. heh heh

So here is the photo shoot on the intake. I ended up getting a new camera today so i figured i would show you what the intake fits like. Notice in the sideways pic of the throttle body area, how i added a tiny length of hose to the intake from the sensor that WOULD NOT reach the intake. In another pic you can find the best spot for the brace. DO NOT try to use the bolt thats holding the brace for the "caution high temperature" things on the side. that bolts broke with little torque put on it. use the bolt i have in the pic. Its alot stronger.
also check for fitment, the hose fitting UNDER the MAF sensor is SUPER CLOSE to some hoses under them, be carefull to leave room for them, so play with fitment a little bit.
otherwise they supply instal directions, i just wanted to point out the snags I had.

wow, my weapon r sits kinda weird. The cone actually hits thatt metal piece, the one where it says caution may be hot. how did you get it to sit closer to the front? my is like a good inch or two towards the back. it hits the back and rattles.
i love this intake. you can definitely feel the gains at the higher end. it sounds pretty good on my car and i dont have an exhaust. i wonder what i'll sound like if i throw a catback on.

ok you see where I put the brace. Position it with the brace ON THAT BOLT and have the filter where you want it. THEN go back to the throttle body and lossen it ONLY A LITTLE BIT, to get the right curve on the throttle body attachement.
ALSO, you cant really see it in the pictures but the main curve in the very back of the engine bay, needs to be TILTED UP just a little bit, itll let you get that angle you need to sit the filter further forward..
try it and tell me what you think..

its been a sad couple of days for me =/ 5 days ago i got the injen intake and installed it the next day, very huge top end gains, definately a must have, i did have to T out one of the hoses though but it didnt take too long. however 2 days ago i decided to take my car to the canyons -_- ... now i have to replace my rear bumper and trunk (thank god theres no rear frame damage) after fish tailing into a guard rail nearly going off a cliff... so now im just focusing on fixing the rear.. it makes me depressed lookin at the damage o_O

I'm sorry to hear that epix
The good thing is that your safe right? no injuries?
A car is just a materialized item. It can be replaced and repaired at anytime.
I had my rear bumper damaged for a good 3 months.
Today, I got it fixed.
I too feel that pain. Looking at that damage everytime I step into my car . . . my mind says " F**K, I need to get that fixed ASAP. My car looks like sh** "

They built it at the shop for me. No cut and weld, i had em build a new ground up bolt on axle back. Had them use 2.5" pipe, mandrel bent(not much actual bending needed, ust a bit for that angle look), the can i had em use was like 200 bucks for the carbon fiber wall with some new titanium thing they invented.
im super happy with the sound. Thing is i think it has more to do with the moto than the exhaust. Weve got some clean sounding motors in our imprezas, once you open up the path a bit you can hear it oh so nicely.
