My only camera is in my cel phone so the pics are terrible, but if that is the part i'm thinking it is, then don't let the layout trick you its just another vacuum line and a mount to hold it in place on the airbox. Thats where i created the T. This month i hope to hook up with a friend with a nice camera and if i do i'll get some pics and post them.

For those who want to install the Sti axelback on their 2.5i imprezas,
i've compiled a couple sound clips for you guys to listen to.
This may help you decide whether or not you want the axelback.

Im diving right in
Hey guys im diving into the Mod game again.
The intakes i was building were a great hit. I was able to tune them a bit more, one of which is in my ride.
Just got the Rallitek lightweight crankshaft pulley, and the PP7 is soon to come.
Got the axle back exhaust installed, had to custom build it. Guys at Johny Franklins really did a world class job, flages, mandrel bends, fully bolt on application.
Sound is going in soon via a 1600w audiobahn amp to a DualVoiceCoil 1000w sub.
tint is still at 5%, and Im freakin in love with that black sub sitting low wearing those dark gunmetal shoes..... Im thinking about hitting something like that.
Anyone know how to make the wrx strut tower bar work for us in the 2.5i's?
im gonna have to move the metal AC hoses, but dont want to if i dont have to.

Hey J, I'm got a bar on order, and been tring to figure out how to do it as well, It looks like you just move the line at the point the ruber spacer was holding it down to on top of that point, or did you have to do more?

You have to unscrew the bolt, in which I've indicated on the above pictures.
That allows you to move the metallic hose around, and thus freeing up some space to install the tower bar.
You MAY have to drill an extra hole for the bolt in which you unscrewed earlier, only if you wish to move that bolt to a different location if needed.

OK so i spent a whole deal of time on this.
If any of you ardered the wrx/sti bar like i did, return it or resell it.
Your bar in the pics faces the front of the car, the wrx.sti one sits agaist the firewall almost to allow for room for the intercooler. the right side hose i can move, but there is no moving it on the left side unless i want to start bending the metal part of the hose...
no go...
ill figure this one out in due time, but first,
has anyone used and seen gains from installing the lightweight pulleys?, not underdrive....

Wow, that's a nice exhaust!
What are you running under there?
Axelback or catback exhaust?
With regards to the tower bar, try reversing it so it sticks out towards the engine. Regardless, it's still a metallic bar which increases ridgity.
