06 2.5i Mod Thread
Hey guys,
I just got the 06 2.5i and am looking to mod it, but of course since it's new there isn't much out yet. Just thought we could start a thread for our year and model.
Anyone know of any intake that would fit this year and model?

I just got my new 06' 2.5i couple days ago and I'm also wanting to mod it :P
But man, I'm a person who likes to save gas hahahaha, I wanted a vehicle that included A/C , power windows/doors etc. . ., but at the same time doesn't kill a lot of gas, but also has decent hp / torque / handling.
I'd say give it half a year or so, for some mods to come out since 06 models aren't as common yet.
I've gone through 200km and 1/4 of the gas tank. Is that considered a lot of fuel used for that amount of km?

I'm also wanting to mod the brakes.
I'm not sure, but this is my first Subaru vehicle I've purchased and the brakes seem a bit 'soft / spongy' ? Like I would have to depress the brake pedal quite a bit in order to get an excellent braking response. Any advice on this ?

have any of you put lowering springs on the 06 yet? I want a good drop, at least 1 1/2"...
looks like the Eibach Pro-Kits are the best option from what I've read. The Whitelines only give a 1" drop.

And ... to update this thread, here are some parts I've found for the 06 so far:
Body kits:
http://www.ings-net.com/top.html

www.tommykaira.com
Intakes:
I heard injen cold air fits on an 06 RS. can anyone verify this?
Also, if anyone with an 06 are bothered by the NO SEATBELT BEEP, read this thread... it's an ez fix - https://www.i-club.com/forums/interior-exterior-lighting-69/annoying-seat-belt-reminder-alarm-113004/

Remember, that anything but turbo related parts will work for you. So you can make your RS handle just like WRX if not better (less weight), stop just like the WRX if not better and use less gas.
