whistle sound on my 06 WRX at idle!

whistle sound on my 06 WRX at idle!
wassup guys,
im hearing this whistle sound during idle.. wen i rev it a little bit it dissapears, wish somebody can help me with this. im planning to take it to the dealer and see wat they say about it. anybody experience this b4?
my car has 1300 miles and my idle is at 500rpm. the noise (whistle) started after 1200 miles if i remember...thanks guys!

If your car is stock, I doubt there is anything wrong with it. Most likely you are hearing the turbo whine, which you are not familar much becuase your previous car was a Civic.
Also, the OEM EGT probe sometimes tends to cause some minor whistle. Depends on the outside temp and stuff.

If you're completely stock, your best bet would be to take it to the dealer and have them inspect it. It's difficult to diagnose a sound through the internet, as there could be a large number of causes.
