i have 3" cat back & want to finish my exhaust so i can start to play with my cobb AccessPORT. i was told that it would be a good idea to get a up pipe so the rezz in the stock one wont get old and brak off and f-up my trubo. is this true?
i want to get a PERRIN Performance front mount intercooler sometime soon. to is this a good comp or not? thanks for your help.

so the stock up pipe in my 05 sti is cool ?
what about a GP Moto Equal Length Header It already has a uppipe welded into the system. that was what i was going to go with. dose aynone know if this is a good comp?
should i get my car tuned after i finish my exhaust?
and if so befor or after i play with my AccessPORT?

Your stock uppipe is fine for your mods. I can't give you any feedback on the GP Moto equal-length header because I don't have an aftermarket header system.
You might also check with Cobb's web site to see what maps they currently have available for downloading. One or more of their maps might be close to how you plan to mod your car. If so, you might safely be able to use one of their off-the-shelf maps. The standard maps will be tuned conservatively compared with a custom dyno tune, and that's the way it should be.
