Actually, what I'm looking for is the complete assembly. I know, it's the lazy way out, by not building the motor myself, but everything I see says building up the short block is a little more expensive than the complete long block. I know I'd have the benefit of knowing EXACTLY what has gone into the motor, and how far I can push those parts, but I'd be tempted to blow my whole wad on really top shelf components for the initial build, and leave me nothing for upgrading. Again, I know it's off the topic, but please help, the car's useless with a blown EJ20T

I've checked subaruwrxparts.com , and they don't have them listed on the website anymore. Any other places that you guys know of? And I know the long block is expensive, but I've budgeted a good amount of money for this. I just really want a stable, reliable, factory starting point for future mods. I mean, why not go whole hog when finishing a rebuild? This is the last thing left before the car is road worthy again.

You're basically gonna just have to hit the phones. Many dealers will get long and shortblocks, but they can't "order" them- they just show up. So you'll have to hunt one down by calling individual dealers. I'd start by calling the ones with websites that are used to selling online and shipping parts.
