TurboXS RFL TI Muffler question
I just my Sti 3 weeks ago and i reading about boost creep and everything. My question is if i put a turbo xs muffler on my car will it boost creep..my friend said it would but i jus wanted to get ur guys opions before i would make my decision..and also would the shorty turbo xs do nething for my car i love the intake sound so i was jus wonderin if i got that too if would mess up my car..sorry for all the newb questions

You deffinatley will NOT get boost creep if you only do a muffler. I think pretty much any CAT Back exhaust you will be safe with. Its when you start freeing up real flow by romoving cats and using new downpipes when you run into boost creep.

I'm really interested in this setup too. What are the chances that slapping the TXS TBE w/ the RFL-TI would produce creep? Is it like flipping a coin? If so, then I couldn't find a TXS catback version of their RFL-TI.

It's not an absolute that you will get boost creep. Sean at Rallitek told me that out of the 20 or so Turbo-backs he's done on STi's he's only had one that had boost creep and that was with a GP moto exhaust. All the AVO and Invidia TB's have been creep free.
