Turbo timer on an stock STi

is it beneficial to install a turbo timer on a stock '04 STi?
If so I hear the GReddy is a good one.

I have a 04 STi with a TT.

In all honesty, it makes absolutely no difference to have one. For me, I installed it because it was a nice piece of mind for me. My friends run their cars without cool downs, but they do the 45 sec warm ups.

It's all about personal preference from this point on, as the technology for turbo cars are getting better and more advanced.

There are plenty of instructions with pictures, if you do a search for it, I'm sure a very good install w/ pictures will come up. Let me know if you get one and run into any problems. I've done about 8 or so TT installs up to this point (all on WRX & STi, different makes of TT though. Went through Apexi, Blitz, HKS, Greddy). Oh yeah, and do yourself a favor if you get one, make sure you get the TT harness. Makes your life a lot easier

a quick question,

TT works fine, i cut a wire (black/green) on the security box (i think the one on the driver side above fuse box),

and now i can arm the alarm and lock the doors with the TT counting down, but i've read that there is another wire too cut on the keyless entry box, where is this box and what color wire, i've read that the box is by the E-brake or behind the glove box, and the wire is either gray of green/black

any ideas??

Try using the Search or Advanced Search feature using keywords 'turbo timer sti'. I found this thread (there may be more) that may yield some helpful installation tips:
