RS*R ExMag GTII series Cat-Back

Pardon my n00bishness,
There's the little piece that goes from the stock piping size to the 3"(that's what it is right? or is it 3.5"?)... What do you do if you have a 3" downpipe? Do they have another little piece that's just straight thru?
P.S. Where did you buy it from?

im not sure about the downpipe question I havent gotten to that upgrade yet. I got mine from Dynamic Autosports and there located in Lake Forest CA.
I paid 466 w/tax but I got a lil hook up.

Answered my own question...
So their downpipe is actually a little bit longer then the stock and other after-market downpipes. It bolts right up to the rest of the exaust system for an 80mm path all the way from the Bellmouth to the exit of the can...
n00b question... What are the pluses and minuses of the ceramic vs. stainless... just guessing I would think the ceramic retains more heat, which is good... but the stainless would rust less... dunno
RS-R downpipe - 2002+ Subaru WRX
This 80mm RS-R downpipe eliminates the small adapter on the GT2 exhaust. By eliminating the adaptor, the longer downpipe will bolt directly to the exhaust. This unique design eliminates all restrictions and converts the GT2 into a true 80mm system from start to end. Please note that the new RS-R downpipe for the WRX is longer than the OEM convertor and will not bolt directly to other exhaust systems from other manufacturers.
two versions available.
ceramic coated mild steel version or full polished 304 stainless steel version
ceramic
coated
version
$249.00
stainless
steel
version
$319.00

stainless is just all bling, and maybe longevity factors...
this is the exact same thing on honda's where you can buy ceramic headers or buy SS headers..
all in the eyes of the buyer
btw, hey mach5... could you weight your RS*R exhaust? i'm guessing its going to be lighter than other catbacks

I third that... again...
I really wanna hear what this exaust sounds like. I have heard the Tanabe Racing Medallion, which sounds killer, but I can only guess that the RSR exaust would have one of the highest power gains as it's almost completely straight.

Please post up a sound clip. I am highly considering going with this exhaust and want to know how it sounds before I send off the money.
Thanks,
