QTP cutout downpipe

QTP cutout downpipe
Anyone out there using a quick time performance downpipe with the exhaust cutout. Seems like perfect solution for me, but I'm wondering about CELs and or boost spikes from switching back and forth. Is there an engine management system that can be switched quickly and easily from inside the car to accomodate open exhaust/ stock exhaust parameters?

Car Info: 2004 STi.....stock turbo/intercooler/cat-back, aftermarket intake/downpipe/piggyback
Im using it! along with my vishnu XEDE piggyback, it gets pretty loud w/ the xpass open - adds about 20HP....used to run 13.3 to 13.4 stock

Also the QTP doesn't open until boost kicks in. I don't like that. Hurts the spool up.
