Car Info: 06 Subaru WRX STI

Popping sound coming from front

I noticed last night i have a popping sound on my 06 STI coming from the front of the car. It sounds as if its coming from the front driverside wheel but it only pops once under acceleration and in every gear after i shift. anyone else have this? or anyone have any ideas please let me know.

yes it is on auto. I have read some posts about the factory motor mounts being prone to breaking. I was wondering if anyone that had this problem experienced the same sound.
