Question Omori EGT gauge with port in PDE up-pipe

Hi all,

Just installed an Omori EGT gauge with an access port in a PDE up pipe. The sensor is a needle type and is inserted into the provided port plug. I am having issues with this needle "blowing" out of the port plug. EGT goes to zero and low an behold I have a small exhaust leak. Looking at it, its kind of a dumb design considering that they easily could have put a collar on the needle and kept it held into the port plug with a sleeve nut.

Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it?
