The Sti has a Throttle body it just doesn't have the throttle cable wire so many of us are used to. Now back to NOS man good luck w/ your decision.

A 50-75 shot adds more HP then its labeled because it drops the intake charge temp by like 60-70 degrees and actually reduces detonation if tuned correctly. A 50 is actually like adding a 80-100 shot because of the cooling advantage.
I havent installed it on my STI yet but I had a turbo integra that I put a 50 shot on and it ran .7 faster in the 1/4 mile. 12.66 not a bad street car to 11.86 a no joke street car.
Its safe to do because the car has hyperutectic pistons that can withstand the heat.

Car Info: 05 LegacyGT,06 Black STI Will be home Soon
I've always heard that Nos and turbo's didnt really work right together, that's why i've stayed away from it, Plus I want the power there all the time and with nos you would only get like 8 to 10 spray's on a 10lb bottle then you have to go refill for $40

The car will run fine with just a NOS kit, because the NOS sends extra fuel and NOS into the intake tract.
The right way to do it would be to use an engine mgmt to tune a set NOS program.
Gilmore Whoever told you NOS and turbo cars don't work right together has no clue what hes talking about. NOS works better and safer on a turbo car then on a naturally aspirated car. It is dangerous to use with cast (non hyperutectic or non forged) pistons though

Wow, 100 HP from a 50 shot of NOS. Sounds a little fishy to me, I would rather have the HP there all the time. In any event your going to have to wait for engine management to perform it effectively.

^^^yup
a Godspeed DownPipe, GT-Spec Headers, and your choice of cat-back exhaust and a ported stock turbo and you'll have that power all the time

Slickmister- the performance gains of a 50 shot, are LIKE adding 100hp to your car, it can run a ton more timing cause the intake charge drops up to 70 degrees from the juice. Cold intake charge on a turbo car= more hp and less detonation. With a small shot 50-75 you can run the stock ecu because the NOS solenoids send the right amount of Fuel in with the NOS.
I am not trying to argue with you guys, I do have a TON of experience with building turbo import cars and american cars and running NOS on them. If anyone wants real facts instead of speculation get in touch with me.
So many people have negetive outlooks on NOS and it's really not that bad if ran correctly. Its when its abused like anything else, thats when you get into trouble, just like running 25lbs on your VF39, sure it'll put out the boost but at the expense of something really bad happening.
Let me know if any of you have ????'s or need help.

In my opinion bottles are for babies. They are great for drag cars, if thats the type of stuff you like then good for you. But I just dont think a NOS setup is really suited for our type of cars.
My 2 cents
