I also have been taking measurements with a short ram I just installed:



Temps were not as bad as I expected still warmer than I like though when moving. I need to get some sort of heat shield. The above was with the fender plug still in place. I've removed it and need to take another set of temp readings. Still when you stop the intake temp gets very high (like I expected) it comes down quickly after you start moving. The stock airbox with the silencer removed and fender plug never got that hot that quickly though. The above intake here:
