Arrow Keeping stock STI axle back put putting 3 inch pipe before it?

ok quick question. i want to keep stock muffler but im thinking of going with 3 inch from the downpipe to the stock piping at the rear axle. do you think ill have boost creep issues. also how much louder do you think it will be. Im reading people havent noticed that much of a increase if they just do the axle back (just sounds louder) and sanderson headers (they do all the hot rod cars out here and custom headers) charged me 100 bucks to go 3 inch from the downpipe to the axle. I really dont want to get a muffler cause i dont like the big can looking thing and i want the car to look stock because now police in california can pull you over for modified exhaust even if it isnt loud, they passed some new law. If anyone has any feedback or info on this please help me out, also how much louder do you think it will be., i have gt spec headers with uppipe and godspeed down pipe coming. then i would do this afterward

thanks

A full 3" downpipe will net you some gains, but not as much as having a full 3" exhaust from tip to turbo.
