but seriously. go to stock and have Subaru check it out.

they will fix it under warranty with your low mileage...
I think it's 3 years/36k so it'd be out of warranty now.

That's a lot of work to do only to be told there's no warranty.

I'm located in Michigan we have a dealer that is light mods friendly, Hodges Subaru in Ferndale with an exhaust and intake they should be ok.

But remember i have a catless DP so boost creep is very possible.

boost creep.. its possible, but boost creep does not feel the same as the way you are explaining it.

especially since you said it happened when you originally got the car.

Yes i got the car with the Exhaust and catless DP and CAI. I don't think i said that.

I read another forum guy had the SAME exact problem i am having and his was boost creep. and then i remember watching my boost gauge creeping up from .1MPa on the gauge to .14MPa. starting at 3400 RPM to 7K RPM.

Well if you are hitting .14MPa that is crazy high on a stock turbo with no supporting mods.

Q) How do I know if I have boost creep?

A) If you have a full TBE, then you probably have it. A boost gauge will tell you what pressure you are at as well. Fuel cut occurs when the ECU senses boost in excess of 17.5psi for 2-3s. Fuel cut in my experience is a very violent "stutter" from the engine that resembles extreme knock, followed by CEL.
BTW maybe this can help you:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=477715

My experience with boost creep was on a cold morning/day. I threw a CEL + Flashing Cruise light. I basically hit the ECU limit which then cut fuel and the car did a violent kick.

So how so you remedy the problem? I just installed my Cobb dp on my 2012 wrx I have 7600 miles and tonight I was on a back road and wanted to try out my new stage 2 tune so I did a wot run. In 4th gear at about 100 car kicks hard and stops. Flashing cruise control, traction and cel pop up. Can I just clear it or do I need to replace something? Mod list is as follows:
AEM CAI
INVIDIA q300 cat back
Cobb catted dp
Cobb ap stage 2

You boost creeped, I had this problem before also. I cleared the CEL and just keep out of WOT until I get a better tune and a EBC installed.

Really so the ots maps from Cobb aren't good enough for me to run with this setup?

It should, I'd hit up Mike from GST and ask him. When it comes to tuning, I'm not that knowledgable as those who do it for a living.
