High RPM Problems Please help.
2005 STi 17,800 miles
Mods:
UTEC (happened before install, and still happens)
Catless DP
HKS hi power exhaust
injen CAI
AEM Wideband
When i got the car in October it happened while the check engine light was on for a rear O2 sensor low volt/performance bank1 sensor2.
What happens at WOT 4th-6th when i hit 100MPH it feels like hitting a brick wall and RPMS go about 7k and it stops pulling instanly. I thought because the engine light was on this happened, but no cause when the light is off it still happens.
I even bought a UTEC with Stage 2 maps and it stills happens. I feel like it's the injectors and feul pump being maxed out running .14 Boost level stock VF39 Turbo.
I want this to be fixed before going to the dyno in 3 weeks.

are you taking it to the dealer soon?
you should have a boost gauge so you know what the turbo is doing.
what gear and mph?

hmm... between 3rd and 4th. I don't recall the speed..but both 3rd and 4th gear at 7k felt like hitting the wall.
I'm gonna try again after work to see if it persists. I was thinking maybe my motor was still cold? but that can't be because I already had driven good 15 miles on the freeway prior to wot.

Subaru has like a killsafe... if your driving the car too hard at a super high RPM.. it will shut the the engine off... You either have to shift into the next gear or wait for the car to slow down until it starts back up... im not sure if thats what you experience when you say it felt like hitting a wall
