HFS-5 Failsafe Issues - 2006 STi
I need some assistance with an issue I am having with the Failsafe on my Aquamist Kit. Paul @ DBtuned set me up with a Cobb Turboback Exhaust, Cobb AccessPort, HFS-5 w/ DDS3 v9 and Boost Control Solenoid (Don't know brand). While Paul tries works with tech support I thought I would ask around.
He tapped into my Intercooler Sprayer tank in the trunk and wired everything up. The kit works fine except for some reason the failsafe is kicking on and stopping me at 9-10psi. Paul did some troubleshooting with the wiring for about 3 hours and he's having trouble correcting it. It worked when he Dyno'd the car and reached 18psi.
I've tried Stage 2 91octane map and still only 9-10psi. If you know the reason why the failsafe stays engaged please let me know. Also if you have a full color wiring guide for an 2006 Subaru STi, that would be great. I will be taking some pictures of the cicuit board wiring tomorrow and post them.
