helix upipe on 05 sti?

how do i cover the EGT bung? or whatever that is... since the sti's uppipe dunt come with the sensor. just leave it like a hole on the uppipe?

NO!!! You will have a massive exhaust leak... very bad.

Go to your local napa and get a screw in plug. Best news would be that you havn't installed it yet and you can take the up pipe with you to make sure that the threads match.

i haven't installed it yet.
helix don't provide a bolt? do i need to buy the helix 05 sti cel fix from gruppe-s?
it just looks like a bolt

I don't think that helix provides a bolt... if they did, it would probibly be about as much as the EGT sensor thats is suposed to fill the gap.

No, you don't have to buy the cel fix.

It is just a bolt. Bring the up pipe to an autoparts store and get a bolt that fits. Or get an EGT sensor to put in there. Its a great sensor to have as it will alert you to lean AF ratios if temps go too high.

ok so the OEM up pipe is catless but what about dimensions? im sure it needs replacement by some point of upgrading.
